Smatterling app for iPhone and iPad

Bid farewell from the digital world and say “hello” to real face-to-face conversations. Smatterling discloses nothing about you but your age, gender and one profile picture. No names, interests, friends in common or prejudices – so you get to know people in everyday life instead of embellished online profiles.

You are enterprising and want to meet new people? The Smatterling app helps you! You feel like meeting in a bar, going to the cinema, working out or drinking a cup of coffee? Just create a new hotspot at a place of your choice and write, what you are going to do. Other Smatterlings will see the event and come by. If you’re already hanging out with some friends, just add them to the event.

FIND LOCATIONS
No plans for today? Get Smatterling and take a look what’s happening around you. Click “search” and view all hotspots in your environment. Another click on a hotspot and you receive all necessary information about the event. If you want to take part, tab “get direction” and your Smartphone leads you to the destination.

IDENTIFY USERS
As soon as you arrive, you look for the host of the event. You can identify the host by his profile picture and by the Smatterling QR code on his smartphone. Just scan the QR code and join the event!

BE THE HOST
When you create an event for the desired time and place and tell about your plans, you become the host of an event. Make the event public or turn on private mode, post it and meet new people.

GIVE A NECTAR
Nectar can be given to other Smatterlings after the event – or not. If you receive Nectar, someone appreciates having spent an awesome time with you. Keep going! The more Nectar you collect, the better! If the host leaves earlier the Smatterling with the most Nectar becomes automatically the next host.

PROFILE
Your profile is just visible to you. It shows a list of past events including the location, the number of the members, the names of the member and the time you met. You also see a total number of your events.
